Journey to Peace Instead of Paperwork is a free, guided workshop series that walks families through preparing essential documents, organizing vital information, and building a practical end-of-life plan that reduces chaos for their loved ones.
Participants leave with clarity, confidence, and a personalized system they can maintain over time.
The Legacy Binder & Essential Documents Toolkit is currently in development.
This structured, easy-to-complete system will help families gather, organize, and maintain the information their loved ones need during emergencies or end-of-life situations.
When launched, it will include:
Worksheets and planning guides
Full emergency + end-of-life document checklists
Templates for financial, household, medical, and digital information
Step-by-step guidance on how to maintain and update the binder
We are building this toolkit intentionally and thoughtfully so it becomes a long-term resource families can rely on — not just another binder on a shelf.
While some offerings are still in development, our long-term goal is to provide hands-on support that makes planning easier and more accessible.
One-on-One Readiness Consultations: In development — launching as staff capacity expands.
Family Planning Sessions: Guided conversations to support communication and reduce conflict.
Document Organization Support: Assistance creating or updating binders or planning systems.
Community & Professional Partnerships: Workshops, trainings, and educational events — rolling out gradually beginning in 2026.
That’s why we are cultivating a trusted network of professionals and community partners who share our commitment to helping families plan ahead with clarity and compassion.
Our growing network includes:
Financial Advisors and Planners – to help families organize assets and understand next steps.
Estate Planning Attorneys – to ensure legal documents and wishes are protected.
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) – to simplify financial transitions and tax considerations.
Funeral and Memorial Professionals – to bring compassion and guidance to families in moments of loss.
Faith Leaders and Counselors – to provide emotional and spiritual support during life transitions.
Community Educators and Advocates – to expand awareness and bring readiness education to local audiences.
Together, these partnerships strengthen our mission and create a support system families can trust.
In addition to our Journey to Peace class series, we collaborate with community partners to support events that help families take practical steps toward readiness.
Examples of partnership events include:
Free shredding events to safely dispose of old documents
Donation drives supporting families and community organizations
Community education days focused on family preparedness
Binder or kit assembly events
Author talks and book discussions
Resource fairs with local advisors, attorneys, and professionals
These events help create practical touchpoints for families to take one small step at a time — together.
